The Copen Dress Weekend with Made to Sew's Aneka Truman
We are thrilled to have the amazing Aneka Truman of Made to Sew visiting and teaching a very special dressmaking class! You may recognize Aneka from her hugely successful Made to Sew You Tube channel. Aneka will be teaching an intensive dressmaking workshop on her Copen dress pattern.
***We recommend creating a muslin in this class focusing on getting the right fit and not using a precious or expensive fabric.

The format of the workshop will begin with fitting on Friday evening and sewing throughout the day Saturday & Sunday. There will be a break for lunch Saturday & Sunday.
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00-4:00pm, lunch break included
Fabric not included. Check the pattern back for fabric yardage required for your size. Bring your pre-washed fabric to class.
You've taken one of our intro to sewing classes or have the equivalent amount of experience. You know how to thread and use a sewing machine. You have some basic garment sewing experience such as a pullover top or a-line skirt. You have experience reading and cutting out a pattern. You've sewn within the last 2 years. You will not be taught to sew in this class so please be sure you already know how to sew!
Materials needed: See your required fabric yardage link above and bring your fabric pre-washed to class.
Materials provided: The Copen pattern, a sewing machine, coordinating thread, fabric shears, pins, marking tools, measuring tape and an iron.
