This vintage pattern for a beach romper is an homage to the summer of 1939. Halter style on the top, this romper is anchored by a skort and wrap skirt combination on the bottom. It features very clever style lines cut on the bias. Due to the wrapped nature of this design, finished garment measurements are not available.
Thread. 2 1/4 yards of 1/2" ribbon for halter ties.
60" wide fabric only: linen, cotton, shirtings.
Uneven plaids and uneven stripes might not be suitable. Take the bias grain line into consideration when choosing your fabric. Allow plenty of extra fabric for matching plaids and stripes.
Sewing Level: Advanced Beginner
