1940s Point Made Gown Pattern

This elegant Gown Pattern is a vintage pattern from the 1940s that includes cutting lines for a full length gown or a shorter day/cocktail length dress. Its flattering design features a draped bodice and bias-cut inset pieces that tie at the waist. Asymmetrical neck line has fullness gathered or pleated into right shoulder. Back bodice extends to front at right shoulder in a point. Cap sleeves, side slit on full length gown, side zipper, snap opening at left shoulder.


Silk Charmeuse, Light Weight Crepe, Satin, Faille, Silk Broad Cloth, Rayon.  Allow extra for plaids, stripes or fabric with nap.


Thread. 12" zipper. Stay Tape. Small Snaps.
