Would you love to learn from one of Atlanta's premier fashion designers? Join us for Sew Ready to Wear with designer Abbey Glass. Abbey got her start as a fashion designer at Rhode Island School of Design and later worked for Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein. She now heads up her own team of designers and seamstresses at her Atlanta based atelier and boutique. Abbey will join us for a talk on her design process and how she builds her collections. She'll also talk to the group about how to infuse your own ready to wear style in your handmade wardrobe. After a light lunch break, Nikki will teach students how to sew Abbey's Jojo dress, a classic shift dress with floaty sleeves in sophisticated Abbey Glass style. The Jojo is pictured here but will be modified a bit in class. The sleeves will be slightly shorter without cuffs.

Fabric not included. Check the pattern back for fabric yardage required for your size. Bring your pre-washed and pre-cut fabric to class.

Note: To save time and space for your fellow sewists, please cut out your pattern and fabric pieces before class. We will mail your pattern approximately two weeks before class to give you time to cut out. If you want to collect your pattern in person, just let us know in the notes at check out. We encourage you to contact the shop before class if you need help cutting out your fabric.
