Sew Ready To Wear with Abbey Glass
- Advanced Beginner
Would you love to learn from one of Atlanta's premier fashion designers? Join us for Sew Ready to Wear with designer Abbey Glass. Abbey got her start as a fashion designer at Rhode Island School of Design and later worked for Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein. She now heads up her own team of designers and seamstresses at her Atlanta based atelier and boutique. Abbey will join us for a talk on her design process and how she builds her collections. She'll also talk to the group about how to infuse your own ready to wear style in your handmade wardrobe. After a light lunch break, Nikki will teach students how to sew Abbey's Jojo dress, a classic shift dress with floaty sleeves in sophisticated Abbey Glass style.
