In this 3 part series, two hours each session, kids ages 9 + will build on their sewing skills from sewing 101. After threading their machines and practicing some stitching, they will make 2-3 projects over the course of 3 sessions. In sewing 102 we are allowing the kids to choose their projects. We've found that kids often want to work on varying projects and want to learn varying skills. We're happy to accommodate kids working on different projects in one class. Some ideas for projects are: learning to sew clothing such as a shirt, skirt, shorts or leggings, or sewing bags such as totes, toiletries bags and zipper pouches. After you sign up, we will be in touch to determine their project interests for class. We'll provide the patterns for each project and a selection of fabrics will be provided. If students would like to purchase fabrics outside of what is offered they may do so.
*Please arrive 10 minutes before class to fill out our liability waiver if you have not done so for a previous class and to choose the fabrics for class.
